Our Policies at French Valley Swim Academy
► Welcome Letter: Welcome letter for new families
► Swim Diaper: All children 3 and under must wear our swim pants regardless if they are potty trained. All swim pants must be fitted on their thighs and waist. We recommend air drying your swim pants when washing to prevent stretching out. If you have an older child who is not potty trained please use the link below to purchase the brand we require. In the event of an accident by any age regardless if wearing our swim pants will be required to pay a fee of $250. *Parents be aware of how your child’s pants fit, this is avoidable. Keeping our water clean and safe is our top priority, a pool shutdown affects everyone.
► Billing: Billing takes place on the 1st of every month unless it lands on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday in which we are closed. Tuition prices are always a flat rate, based on 4 weeks. In the event of a 5th week in the month, you will not be charged for those extra lessons. We do not prorate the tuition for holidays or offer make ups for holiday closures. All clients are required to use our automated billing service and a card must be on file at all times. To ensure the quality of lessons FVSA maintains a no refund policy.
► Registration Fee: A registration fee of $100 will be charged to new families and $50 for returning families.
► Make-Up Lessons: We allow 1 make up per month with 24 hour notice
► Stopping Enrollment: In order to drop from lessons, our office must be notified before the 1st of the month in order to ensure that you are not billed for that month. Clients who decide to stop lessons after billing has already been processed will receive a credit on their account to be used towards any future classes. Refunds are not issued.
► Late: If you arrive late to your lesson, we will do our best to give you the full lesson time however, we can only guarantee the remaining time of your scheduled lesson.
► Absent Instructor: We believe that the continuity of lessons is of the upmost importance. Therefore, in the event of an absent teacher, a substitute teacher may be provided. Notice will not be given. If, upon arrival, you decide you would prefer not to swim with a substitute teacher, you may cancel your lesson and call our office to find a new date/time. *We do not schedule the lesson
► Make-up tokens: Make-up tokens are issued for reasons such as an absent instructor, pool closure, holiday or personal reasons. Any personal absence if given a token will always expire within 30 days. Tokens given based off of a FVSA closure will not expire. Tokens must only be used towards other families absences and cannot be used towards recurring lessons. All tokens must be used within the time of enrollment. We are not required nor responsible for scheduling your tokens/make ups. They are in your account to be used and scheduled per each family, if you need help scheduling please reach out and we can assist. Downloading the app is the easiest way to use/browse make-up options.
► Holiday Closures:
- Memorial Day: Monday, May 27th
- Fourth of July: Thursday, July 4th & Friday, July 5th
- Labor Day: Saturday, August 31st – Monday, September 2nd
- Thanksgiving: Monday, November 25th – Saturday, November 30th
- Winter Break: Monday, December 23rd - Friday, January 3rd
