French Valley Swim Academy (“FVSA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of our swimmers, families, and website visitors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and the choices available to you.
This policy covers our website at https://frenchvalleyswimacademy.com/, our swimming instruction services, our communications with families, and information FVSA processes through its iClassPro Parent Portal.
iClassPro and other third-party services may also collect information under their own privacy policies, as explained below.

Parent and guardian information: Names, email addresses, telephone numbers, mailing addresses, emergency contacts, and family account information.

Enrollment and payment information: Class selections, registration details, tuition charges, payment history, account balances, credits, refunds, and transaction records. Payment-card information may be collected and processed through third-party payment services.
Communications: Information you provide when contacting us by telephone, text message, email, website forms, or other communication methods.
Website and advertising information: Where FVSA’s optional tracking is enabled, information such as pages viewed, website interactions, referral sources, device and browser characteristics, approximate location, cookies, advertising identifiers, and online enrollment events.
Photographs and video: Images, recordings, and related information collected in connection with lessons, academy activities, or promotional materials, subject to applicable consent requirements.
We may also receive relevant information from parents, guardians, charter schools, regional centers, or other organizations involved in arranging or paying for swimming instruction.
2. How We Use Information
FVSA uses information to provide and manage swimming lessons, create and maintain family accounts, schedule classes, record attendance, process payments, communicate with families, provide customer support, administer promotions, support student safety, maintain business records, and meet applicable legal obligations.
We also use permitted website analytics and advertising measurements to understand how visitors find FVSA, improve our website and enrollment experience, and evaluate the effectiveness of our advertising.
We do not intend to use student health information, disability information, or accommodation details to build advertising audiences or personalize advertisements.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

FVSA blocks those managed tags for visits identified as originating outside the United States or from an unrecognized location, rather than asking those visitors to consent to FVSA’s optional Google tracking.
This regional restriction applies to FVSA-managed tags. It does not necessarily control cookies or tracking technologies operated independently by iClassPro, our website platform, or other service providers.
You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies may affect access to account, enrollment, or payment functions.
4. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
FVSA uses Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) to measure website traffic and interactions with its online enrollment experience.
Where tracking is permitted, GA4 may collect information about page views, referral sources, device and browser characteristics, approximate geographic location, and interactions with website content.
FVSA may also measure enrollment-related events, including beginning registration, creating a family account, adding or removing lessons from a cart, starting checkout, and completing checkout.
We use Google Tag Manager to manage the FVSA Google tags responsible for these measurements on our main website and the iClassPro Parent Portal.
Google Analytics may use cookies and other online identifiers to measure website interactions. Information collected through Google Analytics is processed by Google in accordance with its applicable terms and privacy practices.

5. Google Analytics Advertising Features and Google Ads
FVSA uses Google Analytics advertising capabilities and Google Ads to understand advertising performance and promote our swimming instruction services.

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers provide Do Not Track (“DNT”) or Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signals that communicate a visitor’s tracking preferences.
FVSA has configured its Google Tag Manager system to detect supported DNT and GPC signals and prevent FVSA-managed optional Google Analytics and advertising tags from firing when those signals are active.
These controls apply to the FVSA-managed tags covered by our configuration. They do not necessarily control technologies that third-party platforms operate independently.

7. iClassPro Parent Portal
FVSA uses iClassPro to provide family account management, student registration, class enrollment, scheduling, billing, payments, and related services.
When you use FVSA’s iClassPro Parent Portal, information may be processed to operate your family account and provide swimming instruction. This may include parent and student details, enrollment records, attendance information, communications, billing information, and payment records.
FVSA uses Google Tag Manager on the portal to manage selected FVSA enrollment-measurement events, subject to the regional and browser privacy restrictions described in this policy.
iClassPro also operates its own platform technologies. These may include cookies, technical logs, and marketing-attribution or customer-journey measurements that operate independently of FVSA’s Google Tag Manager configuration. FVSA’s tag-blocking rules should not be understood as controlling every technology used by iClassPro.

8. Children’s Privacy and Student Information
FVSA provides swimming instruction to children and adults. Our website and online enrollment process are intended for parents, legal guardians, and other adults arranging swimming instruction.
Parents and guardians should provide registration information on behalf of their children and manage their children’s family accounts. Children under 13 should not independently submit personal information through our website or online enrollment process.
FVSA collects student information provided by parents or guardians as needed for registration, scheduling, instruction, accommodations, and safety.

Please do not send complete payment-card information through ordinary email or text messages.

The use of identifiable student images or recordings for promotional purposes is subject to FVSA’s applicable media-consent practices and legal requirements.
Parents and guardians may contact FVSA with questions or requests regarding identifiable photographs or recordings of their children. Requests to withdraw media consent will be handled in accordance with the applicable consent terms and legal obligations.
11. Communications and Promotions
FVSA may contact families regarding lesson schedules, enrollment, attendance, billing, academy policies, and other matters related to their accounts.
Where permitted, we may also communicate about available lessons, promotions, and referral programs.
You may contact us to request that certain promotional communications stop. Necessary account-related communications may continue while you maintain an active account.
12. When We Disclose Information
FVSA may disclose information when reasonably necessary to provide services, operate our academy, process payments, communicate with families, or comply with applicable law.
Recipients may include iClassPro, payment processors, website hosting and technical-service providers, communications providers, Google Analytics and Google Ads, professional advisers, and authorized educational or funding organizations involved in arranging or paying for lessons.
Online identifiers and website interaction information may be disclosed to Google in connection with FVSA’s permitted analytics and advertising activities.

Retention periods vary by information type. Family and student records may be retained while an account is active and for an additional period needed for administration or applicable recordkeeping. Payment and transaction records may be retained for accounting and related obligations. Website analytics information is retained according to FVSA’s applicable Google Analytics settings.
When information is no longer needed, it is handled in accordance with FVSA’s applicable retention and deletion practices.
